our purpose

Black Pearls, Society, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit think tank of black politically engaged women whose purpose is addressing structural and institutional racism locally, nationally and across the globe.  Black Pearls Society is a sisterhood of women who have committed our skills, talents and resources to organizing and advocating for racial equity and justice in every facet of our lives, our careers and our social networks.  Black Pearls Society represents women from all walks of life who are working from a common analysis of race and racism and recognize that we possess the collective power to effectively change our lives, our conditions, structural arrangements, and institutions.
