The Black Pearls Society Foundation Mission
The Black Pearls Society Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization committed to educating, engaging, and developing transformative leadership grounded in equity, history, and community power. Rooted in the legacy of Black women’s leadership, we equip individuals with the knowledge, skills, and relationships needed to navigate systems, influence policy, and strengthen civic life.
Our work prioritizes addressing maternal and infant health disparities and advancing equity in health outcomes, with a strong focus on advocacy, education, and community-driven solutions.
Funding and donations to the Foundation directly support this focus, as well as the curation of culturally relevant events and experiencesthat allow us to learn from our history and use those lessons to drive contemporary institutional change.
Through leadership development, community-based learning, and historical understanding, we are cultivating a new generation of changemakers committed to building systems that enable all people, especially Black women and families, to thrive.
